SIR RICHARD HADLEE SPORTS CENTRE

The new Sir Richard Hadlee Sports Centre is located on the site of the old Hagley Horticultural Hall, at the heart of the cricket playing areas, centrally within South Hagley Park.

It will enable all grades of men’s and women’s cricket (from junior, college, club, and age group levels, to provincial, national and international teams) in Canterbury to have access to a quality indoor facility in central Christchurch.

The Centre will also provide a multi-use space available for community groups and other sports codes; meaning the wider community will also gain from having this centrally located world class facility.
