Welcome to Badminton Southland in Invercargill.  We are the proud owner of a 10 court badminton stadium situated at Surrey Park next to Stadium Southland. This is a purpose built badminton hall with a an excellent sprung wooden floor. The facility is used during week days after school and in the weekends for tournaments during the winter.

PLEASE NOTE: as of Wednesday 20th Nov 2024 until the end of February 2025, courts 1 and 2 will be for PICKLEBALL ONLY - paddles & balls are supplied at no cost

Anybody can book a court.  Prices per court are:  

Casual hire $12 per half hour.

Memberships provide unlimited usage for a set time: 

30 days $50

3 months $100

6 months $180

1 year $320

Casual Play is available 24 hours a day, Clubs and Competitions  use the hall so watch our website and Facebook Page for information on those.

Our office is open part time hours, usually during the day or early afternoon.

• A limited number of beginner rackets are available for use
  • We are working hard to keep equipment sanitised and changed out daily so that there is clean (safe) equipment for use when those without rackets come to play.
